The Wrestling Collection

From the smoky arenas of the Mid-Atlantic territory to the bright lights of Georgia Championship Wrestling, our catalog spans decades of authentic wrestling history. Wahoo McDaniel hoisting championship gold. Ricky Steamboat cutting a promo. Ric Flair — the Nature Boy himself — holding court at the GCW desk like only he can. Andre the Giant. Legends. Icons. Moments frozen in time by a photographer who had a ringside seat to all of it.

These are the shots that never made the magazines. The ones that lived in a box for 40 years. Until now.

In 1976, Jim Crockett Promotions lured Young away from the IWA, and he began refereeing for both JCP and the National Wrestling Alliance. By the 1980s, he was the Senior Referee for Jim Crockett Promotions and officiated most of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship matches, including several classic bouts between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. He was the man who presided over hundreds of Ric Flair's title defenses during the Nature Boy's reign atop the NWA.
